Using feedback from Kawasaki's IJSBA championship winning racing machines, the hull was specially designed to cope with the engine's massive output and offers high stability and responsive handling in both calm and choppy-water conditions.

The Kawasaki Jet Ski STX-12F-based engine features a unique design intake manifold that contributes to increased low- and mid-range performance. Acceleration performance is very impressive. Corrosion resistant valves are fitted for high reliability in the marine environment. Narrow valve angles ensure a highly efficient combustion chamber shape. Valve sizes are: 33.4 mm intake / 28.3 mm exhaust. All-aluminum cylinder with electroplated bores is light, long wearing and offers superior heat dispersion.

2010 Kawasaki 800 SX R
The Kawasaki high-performance twin-cylinder, case reed, two-stroke engine delivers the most horsepower ever available in a production, stand-up, JET SKI watercraft. Fully machined combustion chambers ensure consistent performance between cylinders. Axial flow, single stage jet pump delivers plenty of thrust for race or play. Lightweight aluminum jet nozzle delivers superb steering response. Drive shaft features a special anti-corrosion surface treatment and runs in a sealed bearing. Water intake is via a special low-resistance stainless steel intake grate. Matching the high engine output is a cast stainless steel impeller, which contributes to the faster acceleration and stronger thrust.
